Raúl Castro Ruz, president of the Councils of State and Ministers, yesterday received David Choquehuanca Céspedes, Bolivian minister of foreign affairs, who is making an official visit to Cuba.

During the meeting they reviewed the excellent relations between Cuba and Bolivia and discussed the situation in both countries. Other regional and international issues of interest were also addressed. Raúl reaffirmed to Choquehuanca Céspedes Cuba’s solidarity with and support of the Bolivian people and its government led by President Evo Morales.

Also participating on Bolivia’s behalf was Ambassador Saúl Chávez Orozco, as well as Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Pérez Roque.
