Beirut. (NOV 30) -. The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Lebanon, Dr. Ali Hussein Abdallah hosted Monday the Ambassador of Cuba in this country Manuel Serrano Acosta at the headquarters of his Ministry in this capital city.

Both sides discussed the status of bilateral relations in both sectors, and agreed to work to strengthen them.

Abdallah, a surgeon, graduated in Algeria, had words of praise for Cuban sports movement and health system, considering both as essential basic elements of social development, particularly of youth.

The Cuban ambassador provided information to the Lebanese Minister on Cuba's achievements in these fields and its positive impact on the population, referring also to the collaboration that his country offers to various nations of the world.
