El Ministro de  en funciones de  la Republica Libanesa recibió esta mañana al Embajador de Cuba, Darío de Urra, quien fue   amablemente   acompañado por  la Embajadora de Venezuela, Sra. Zoed Karam.

El Embajador cubano se entrevisto nuevamente con el Ministro Aridi respecto a la Reunión de Ministros de Información del Movimiento de  Países No Alineados cuya presidencia Cuba  detenta desde septiembre de 2006.

El importante encuentro tendrá lugar en la isla venezolana de Margarita los primeros días de julio. La Embajadora de Venezuela entrego al Ministro libanés la carta de invitación al conclave.

El Embajador cubano había entregado en previo encuentro con el Ministro Aridi, copia de la carta de invitación que el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Cuba le había  remitido a su homologo Fawzi Salloukh en la que le subrayaba la importancia de la presencia de los miembros del Movimiento en el foro.  

Desgraciadamente, y a pesar de la elección presidencial, el nuevo gobierno libanés no ha podido formarse todavía por lo que los actuales  ministros están cubriendo sus posiciones interinamente pero no de manera oficial, de ahí  que hasta ahora no se sabe si el Líbano podrá estar representado al nivel esperado en el importante conclave.

Mr. Ghazi Aridi, acting Minister of Information of the Lebanese Republic, received this morning the Ambassadors of Cuba, Mr. Dario de Urra, who was  kindly accompanied by Mrs. Zoed Karam, Ambassador of Venezuela.

The Cuban Ambassador met again Minister Aridi,  concerning the Meeting of Information Ministers of the Non Aligned Movement which Cuba holds its chairmanship since September 2006.

The important conference will take place in the Venezuelan island of Margarita the first days of July. The Ambassador of Venezuela handed over to the  Lebanese Minister a letter inviting him  the gathering.

The Cuban Ambassador had a previous meeting with Mr. Aridi and granted him a copy of the letter of Minister of Foreign Relations of Cuba, Mr. Felipe Perez Roque, to his Lebanese counterpart, Mr. Fawzi Salloukh, in order to underline the importance of the presence of the members of the Movement in the meeting.

Unfortunately, and despite the presidential election, the new Lebanese government has not yet been formed so that the current ministers are covering their positions but not acting on a formal, consequently not yet known whether Lebanon may be represented at the expected level in the important foro.

Le Ministre d’Information a. i. du Liban, M. Ghazi Aridi, a reçu ce matin l’ Ambassadeur de Cuba, Dario de Urra, qui été  aimablement accompagnée par l’ Ambassadeur du Venezuela, Mme. Zoed Karam.

L’ Ambassadeur cubain a rencontre  le Ministre Aridi concernant la réunion des Ministres de l’ Information du Mouvement des Pays Non Alignes dont Cuba maintient la présidence depuis Septembre 2006.

L’importante réunion aura lieue a l’ ile Margarita, du Venezuela,  au debout du mois  de Juillet. L’ Ambassadeur du Venezuela a remis, par sa part, au Ministre libanais, la lettre l’invitant au meeting.

L’Ambassadeur cubain avait eu une réunion préalable avec le Ministre Aridi pour lui remettre une copie de la lettre que le Ministre des Relations Extérieures de Cuba, M. Felipe Pérez Roque, avait envoye a son homologue Fawzi Salloukh par laquelle il lui souligne la nécessite de la présence de tous les pays membres dans ce important Foro.

Malheureusement, et malgré l'élection présidentielle que s’ est réalise récemment au Liban,  le nouveau gouvernement n'a pas encore été formé dont les ministres couvrant leurs positions ne peuvent pas  agir officiellement, par conséquent, on ne sait pas encore si le Liban se fera représenter  à niveau prévu dans l'important conclave.

 العريضي يتسلم دعوة إلى مؤتمر عدم الانحياز

تسلم وزير الاعلام في الحكومة المستقيلة غازي العريضي، أمس في منزله، من سفيرة فنزويلا سعاد كرم الدويهي، وسفير كوبا داريو دي اورا توريانتي، دعوة الى حضور مؤتمر "حركة عدم الانحياز"، الذي سيعقد في فنزويلا من الثاني الى الرابع من تموز المقبل. وأشار توريانتي إلى أن المؤتمر "مهم جدا، وسيرسم خطوطا لمستقبل الاعلام والخطوات التي يجب اتخاذها"، وقال: "وجهنا دعوة رسمية الى الوزير العريضي من حكومتنا وحكومة فنزويلا. وسيتيح له هذا المؤتمر فرصة للقاء نظرائه وزراء الاعلام في عدد من الدول".

اضاف: "يهمنا جدا ان يكون الوفد برئاسة الوزير العريضي لحضور هذا المؤتمر والمشاركة فيه، وان يكون لبنان ممثلا في المؤتمر".
