El ex presidente de la Republica Libanesa, Emile Lahoud, recibió al Embajador cubano Darío de Urra en su residencia,  en las montanas libanesas próximas a Beirut. El Sr. Lahoud estaba acompañado por su hijo el ex diputado Emile Emile Lahoud.

Desde la salida de Emile Lahoud del Palacio presidencial de Baabda el 23 de noviembre de 2007, el Líbano continúa sin Jefe de Estado.

En el encuentro se converso, entre otros temas de interés,  sobre la crisis política libanesa y lo difícil de llegar a un arreglo para solucionarla.

El ex mandatario recordó su estancia en La Habana en el ano 2006, para participar en la Cumbre de los Países No Alineados, como una de las visitas mas memorables que haya hecho al exterior.

The former President of the Lebanese Republic, Emile Lahoud, welcomes the Cuban Ambassador Dario de Urra, at his residence at the Lebanese hills next to Beirut. Mr. Lahoud was accompanied by his son the former Diputy Emile Emile Lahoud.

Lebanon continues without Head of State since Mr. Lahoud left Baabda Presidential Palace on November 23, 2007.

During the meeting, both personalities exchange common interesting points as well about the Lebanese political crisis and the difficulties to reach an agreement.

The former Lebanon Head of State’s remembered his stay at Havana, Cuba, at the end of 2006 to take part at the Non Aligned Summit, as one of the most gratifying that he ever did.

L’  ancien Président de la République Libanaise,  Emile Lahoud, a reçu l’ Ambassadeur de Cuba, Dario de Urra, à sa résidence privée aux montagnes libanaises près de Beyrouth. Il était accompagné par son fils, l’ ancien Député Emile Emile Lahoud.

Le Liban continue sans Chef d’ Etat lorsque M. Lahoud a fini son mandat le 23 Novembre 2007 et quitte le Palais Présidentiel de Baabda.

Pendant la rencontre, les deux personnalités ont échangé sur des point d’intérêts communs et aussi sur l’actuelle crise politique libanaise et les difficultés pour arriver à une solution.

L’ ancien  Chef d’ Etat libanais a qualifié son séjour à La Havane, Cuba, à la fin de 2006 pour participer au Sommet des Pays Non Alignes, comme un de plus généreux qu’ il ait jamais fait.

 رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية السابق يستقبل سفير كوبا

إستقبل رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية السابق، إميل لحود، سفير كوبا، داريو دي أورّا، في مقر إقامته في جبل لبنان على مقربة من مدينة بيروت. كان برفقته إبنه، النائب السابق إميل إميل لحود.

يستمر لبنان دون رئيس للدولة منذ انتهاء ولاية الرئيس لحود في 23 تشرين الثاني 2007 وتركه قصر بعبدا.

خلال اللقاء دار البحث حول المصالح المشتركة وحول الأزمة السياسية اللبنانية القائمة والمصاعب التي تواجه التوصل الى حلّ.

وصف الرئيس اللبناني السابق إقامته في هافانا نهاية العام 2006 بداعي مشاركته في مؤتمر قمة دول عدم الإنحياز، بالأكثر انطباعاً في الذاكرة بين سائر الزيارات التي قام بها للخارج.
