On next 8 November, the United Nations General Assembly will debate on the U.S. blockade against. This will be the 14 time the issue is raised before the international community.

FACTS FINDING ON UNGA HISTORICAL VOTE ON THE TOPIC

 THE BLOCKADE IS:

An economic, commercial and financial war waged by the US governments against the Cuban people for more than 45 years; it is a crime against Cuba, and as stated in the 1948 Geneva Convention, these are “acts perpetrated with the intention of destroying totally or partially a national group”, e.i., a GENOCIDE

 
THE US BLOCKADE:

» Is the longest and cruellest that Humankind has ever known;
» Is an economic war qualified as GENOCIDE;
» It has an extraterritorial character;
» More than the 70% of the Cuban people has born and lived under the blockade;
» 86, 108 USD billions in economic harassment against Cuba;
» 4 USD billions only in 2005 in economic damages
 

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE U.S. BLOCKADE AGAINST CUBA:
 

1.- No Cuban exports to USA
2.- No U.S. imports to Cuba
3.- Extraterritorial restrictions on trade to Cuba
4.- No U.S. tourism to Cuba
5.- Cuba cannot make financial transactions in USD
6.- No Cuban access to international financing institutions. Establishment of an Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations to monitoring the completion of this unclassified document
7.- Torricelli Act:: Ban on Cuban trade with subsidiaries of U.S. companies in third countries.
8.- Helms-Burton Act: Adopted on 1996. Turned all U.S. blockade regulations into acts. Title III and Tittle IV
9.- Robbery of the Cuban trade marks

WHAT IS THE BUSH PLAN
 

It was announced on 6 May, 2004, and reinforced on last 10 June.
Main Objectives:
» To destroy the Cuban Revolution
» To restore capitalism
» To re establish the imperial domination on the Cuban nation
» The reinforcement of the U.S. blockade against Cuba
» The subversion and campaigns against Cuba
» Re colonization of Cuba
» More restrictions on family visits of Cuban Americans
» New restrictions on American citizens travelling to Cuba
» Bigger restrictions on remittances and packages from Cuban Americans to their families in Cuba
» Minimum of cultural, academic, scientific and sports exchanges between Cuba and USA
» More sanctions to U.S. companies and individuals violating regulations imposed by the U.S. blockade
» Increasing the persecution on overseas Cuban finance and commercial transactions
» Appointment of a “Transition Coordinator” -- Caleb McCarry--, as the future “Mayor General” to Cuba

A CLASSIFIED ANNEX IN BUSH PLAN
 

The Commission for Assistance to a Free Cuba Report –better known as Bush Plan—established “some recommendations contained in a separate classified annex” for “reasons of national security and implementation” of aforementioned steps to hasten the so-called “transition” in Cuba, which really means secret plans endangering Cuban sovereignty and
independence; more terrorist attacks, cover operations, new murder attempts against Cuban leaders and even MILITARY INVASION TO THE ISLAND, in a fragrant violation of the United Nations Organization Charter and International Law.

WE URGE ALL FRIENDS OF CUBA TO JOIN AN INTERNATIONAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN TO DEMAND THE INMEDIATE LIFTING OF THE US BLOCKADE,. THE DISCLOSURE OF THE CLASSIFIED ANNEX OF BUSH PLAN, AND THE LIBERATION OF THE CUBAN FIVE IMPRISONED IN US JAILS!
