Cuba Returns to U.S. citizen accused of child abuse.

On June 13, at the request of U.S. authorities, Cuban authorities returned to U.S. authorities, American citizen Leonard B. Auerbach, on whom there is arrest warrants accuse him to commit sexual exploitation of a child as well on carrying out material about infant pornography.

Auerbach was arrested in Cuba last May 7, because the information supplied by the U.S. authorities. During the subsequent investigation conducted by our authorities, it is found Auerbach arrived to Cuba on April 8^th.  coming from Mexico, trying to escape from U.S. justice, as he declared. The Cuban authorities occupied porno photos that he was carrying.

Taking into consideration that  during his stay in our national territory it is not any evidence that  Auerbach committed any criminal act, and that the crimes of which he is accused in U.S. are very severe and strongly punished in  our country and  include the collaboration with other countries in its confrontation, the Cuban  authorities decided to sent back  Mr. Auerbach .
