Palestinian leader supports

Havana, 28 Nov, 2003 (AIN) Nayef Hawatmeh, noticeable Palestinian leader, demanded the liberation of the Five Heroes of the Republic of Cuba imprisoned in United States in the act for the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people celebrated today.
We support, he added, the fight for the release of Gerardo Hernández, René González, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González and Antonio Guerrero, who comply unjust political captivity in American jails.
He indicated that the victory of the Cuban Revolution constitutes motive of breath for the revolutionary Palestinians and reiterated the right to the creation of a State for the suffering people of his country, with Jerusalem as capital.
Professor Rodrigo Álvarez Cambra, President of the Association of Cuban-Arab Friendship, indicated that the birth of the Zionist State of Israel has generated a long and bloody conflict in the Middle East.
He stated that Tel Aviv, with the protection of the American government, has become the main violator in the planet of the international legality and of the human rights, and reaffirmed his believe in the final victory of the fair Palestinian causes.
In such terms also expressed Imad Jada' a, Ambassador of the Palestinian State in Cuba, and Alfredo Deriche, President of the Arabian Union of Cuba (UAC), who extended their solidarity, besides, toward the occupied country of Iraq.
The noticeable singer-songwriter Silvio Rodriguez, with his art, joined this act of solidarity, conjugated happily with stamping dances on accusation, rebellion and heroism, executed by the body of dancers of the UAC.

Havana, 29 Nov (AIN) Nayef Hawatmeh, secretary general of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestinian, was received by José Ramón Balaguer, member of the Political Buró, with whom he maintained official conversations.
During the dialogue, carried out in the Central Committee of the Party, the Cuban part reiterated its position by the side of the just fights of the Palestinian people for recovering the lands and to build his own independent State, as established by numerous resolutions of the UN, which Israel breaks with the endorsement of the United States.
Hawatmeh and the delegation that accompanies him, invited by the Communist Party of Cuba, will comply a program of interviews and visits to social, political, and economic places of interest in the Island and they will participate today in the celebration of the International Day of Solidarity with Palestine, according to UN agreements, published today Granma.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine is one of the groups integrated by the Organization for the Liberation of Palestine (OLP) and is distinguished for their attitude of resistance and fight in favor of the inalienable right of their country and since many years, maintains friendly relations with the Communist Party of Cuba
