Nos complace grandemente informarle que el
Presidente de la República del Líbano,
excelentísimo señor Emile Lahoud, y la delegación de
alto nivel que le acompaña a la XIV Conferencia
Cumbre de Jefes de Estado o Gobierno del Movimiento
de Países No Alineados en La Habana, tuvieron un
emotivo y fraternal encuentro con miembros de la
comunidad cubano-árabe en la sede de la misión
diplomática de ese hermano país.
El primer mandatario libanés y su comitiva
sostuvieron un animado y cordial diálogo con los
integrantes del Ejecutivo de la Unión Árabe Ing.
Alfredo Deriche Gutiérrez, su presidente, los Lics.
Juan Dufflar Amel y José Elías Chediak y los
miembros de su Junta Directiva, José Luis Libera,
Rosa M. Díaz Chediak, Caridad Nellar y Ana Lourdes
Kalaf, y las integrantes de la Comisión Femenina,
Hilda Nellar y Carmen Redondo, entre otras
destacadas personalidades de origen árabe
representantes de los diversos sectores económicos,
sociales, políticos y científicos, cuyos antepasados
levantinos encontraron en la hospitalidad de la
Mayor de las Antillas hogar, patria y nación para
sus descendientes.
El jefe de Estado del País de los Cedros celebró que
la noble inmigración de los hijos de los diversos
pueblos árabes que llegaron a tierras de América
inculcarán en sus descendientes el amor por la
patria de origen y preservarán su unidad, identidad,
cultura y costumbres, sentimientos que, dijo, se han
fortalecido por los históricos lazos afectivos y de
amistad, colaboración y solidaridad que unen al
pueblo cubano con las naciones del Oriente Medio.
Acerca de los dramáticos acontecimientos en el
Líbano por la agresión militar israelí y sus
trágicas consecuencias para la población significó
que los libaneses aman y luchan por la paz y serán
capaces con voluntad, y tesón y nuevas esperanzas,
de reconstruir todo lo destruido por los ataques y
bombardeos del ejército y la aviación sionista.
Integrantes de la comunidad cubano-árabe reiteraron
al Presidente libanés la permanente solidaridad del
pueblo cubano con el hermano pueblo del Líbano y
condenaron la artera, injusta e innecesaria agresión
contra el País de los Cedros.
En el encuentro con el distinguido visitante y su
delegación participaron un numeroso grupo de
profesionales de la medicina, diputados a la
Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular, dirigentes de
organizaciones políticas y sociales, directores de
empresas estatales, intelectuales, artistas y
periodistas de origen árabe.
Entre los numerosos invitados al encuentro se
encontraban también el Profesor Dr. Rodrigo Álvarez
Cambra, Diputado a la Asamblea Nacional del Poder
Popular y presidente de la Asociación de Amistad
Cubano-Árabe; Omar Ramadán, Diputado ANPP, Enrique
Román, vicepresidente primero del Instituto de
Amistad con los Pueblos y ex embajador de Cuba en el
Líbano, funcionarios del Comité Central del Partido
Comunista de Cuba, el Encargado de Negocios del
Líbano en Cuba y varios profesionales libaneses
graduados en distintas disciplinas en nuestro país.

Information, Rencontre du Président Libanais avec la
Communauté Cubaine Arabe
Il nous est agréable de vous informer que le
Président de la République Libanaise, Monsieur Emile
Lahoud, et la délégation de haut niveau qui
l’accompagne à la XIV Conférence Sommet de Chefs
État ou Gouvernement du Mouvement de Pays Non
Alignés à La Havane, ont eu une rencontre émotive et
fraternelle avec les membres de la Communauté
Cubaine- Arabe dans le siège de la mission
diplomatique de ce pays frère.
Le premier mandataire libanais et ses adjoints ont
soutenu un dialogue animé et cordial avec les
membres de l'Exécutif de l'Union Arabe Ing Alfredo
Deriche Gutiérrez, son président, les Lics. Juan
Dufflar Amel et José Elías Chediak et les membres de
son Assemblée Directive, José Luis Libera, Rosa M
Díaz Chediak, Caridad Nellar et Ana Lourdes Kalaf,
et les membres la Commission Féminine, Hilda Nellar
et Carmen Rodondo, entre autres on pouvait souligner
la presence de personnalités d'origine Arabe
représentants divers secteurs économiques, sociaux,
politiques et scientifiques, dont les ancêtres
orientaux ont trouvé dans l'hospitalité de la Plus
grande des Antilles maison, patrie et nation pour
leurs descendants.
Le chef d'État du Pays des Cèdres a souligné que
l'immigration noble des fils des divers peuples
arabes qui sont arrivés à des terres de l'Amérique
cultiveront dans leurs descendants l'amour pour la
patrie d'origine et préserveront leur unité,
identité, culture et coutumes, des sentiments que,
il a dits, ont été fortifiés par les liens affectifs
historiques d'amitié, de collaboration et de
solidarité qui unissent le peuple Cubain avec les
nations du Moyen-Orient.
A propos des événements dramatiques au Liban causés
par l'agression militaire Israélienne et ses
conséquences tragiques sur la population il a noté
que les Libanais aiment et luttent pour la paix et
seront capables volontairement, et tiennent de
nouveaux espoirs, de reconstruire tout ce qui est
détruit par les attaques et les bombardements de
l’armée et l'aviation sioniste.
Des membres de la Communauté Cubaine- Arabe ont
réitéré au Président Libanais la solidarité
permanente du peuple Cubain avec le peuple frère du
Liban et ont condamné cette agression astucieuse,
injuste et inutile contre le Pays des Cèdres.
A la rencontre avec le visiteur distingué et sa
délégation ont pris part un nombreux groupe de
professionnels de la médecine, délégués à
l'Assemblée Nationale du Pouvoir Populaire,
dirigeants d'organisations politiques et sociales,
directeurs d'entreprises étatiques, intellectuels,
artistes et journalistes d'origine Arabe.
Entre les nombreux hôtes à la rencontre se
trouvaient aussi le Professeur Dr. Rodrigo Álvarez
Cambra, Député à l'Assemblée Nationale du Pouvoir
Populaire et président de l'Association d'Amitié
Cubaine- Arabe ; Omar Ramadán, Délégué ANPP, Enrique
Román, premier vice-président de l'Institut d'Amitié
avec les Peuples et ex ambassadeur de Cuba au Liban,
fonctionnaires du Comité Central du Parti Communiste
de Cuba, le Chargé d'Affaires du Liban à Cuba et
plusieurs professionnels libanais gradués en
différentes disciplines dans notre pays.

Information, Meeting of President of Lebanon with
Arab Cuban Community.
It is our great pleasure to inform you that the
President of the Republic of Lebanon, his
excellency Mr. Emile Lahoud, and the delegation of
high level that accompanies to XIV the Summit
conference of Chiefs of State or Government of the
Movement of Non Aligned Countries in Havana, had a
touching and brotherly meeting with members of the
Cuban-Arab community in the location of the
diplomatic mission of that brother country.
Lebanese Head of State and his retinue maintained an
animated and warm dialogue with the members of the
Executive of the Arab Union Ing. Alfredo Deriche
Gutiérrez, its president, the Lics. Juan Dufflar
Amel and José Elías Chediak and the members of their
Board of directors,
José Luis Libera,
Rosa M. Díaz Chediak, Caridad Nellar
and Ana Lourdes Kalaf, and the members of the
Feminine Commission, Hilda Nellar and Carmen
Redondo, among others were present personalities of
Arab origin from diverse economic, social, political
and scientific sectors, whose oriental ancestors
found in the hospitality of the Greater of the
Antilles a home, a mother land and a nation for
their descendants.
The Chief of State of the Land of Cedars stated that
the noble immigration of the children of diverse
Arab countries who arrived to the territories of
America will impliment in their descendants the love
of the origin mother land and will preserve their
unity, identity, culture and customs, feelings that,
he said, have been fortified by the historical
affective bows of friendship, collaboration and
solidarity that unite to the Cuban people with the
nations of the Middle East.
About the dramatic events in Lebanon caused by the
Israeli military aggression and its tragic
consequences on the population he said that the
Lebaneses love and fight for peace and are able
willingly, and have new hopes, to reconstruct all
that have been destroyed by the attacks and the
bombings of the Zionist army and aviation.
Members of the Cuban-Arab community reiterated to
the Lebanese President the permanent solidarity of
the Cuban people with the brother people of Lebanon
and condemned the sly, unjust and unnecessary
aggression against the Country of the Cedars.
To the encounter with the distinguished visitor and
his delegation has participated a numerous group of
professionals of medicine, deputies to the National
Assembly of Popular Power, leaders of political and
social organizations, directors of state companies,
intellectuals, artists and journalists of Arab
origin.
Between the numerous guests to the encounter were
also present Professor Dr. Rodrigo Álvarez Cambra,
Deputy to the National Assembly of Popular Power and
president of the Cuban- Arab Association of
Friendship; Omar Ramadán, Deputy ANPP, Enrique
Roman, first vice-president of the Institute of
Friendship with Peoples and ex- ambassador of Cuba
to Lebanon, civil employees of the Central Committee
of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Chargé
d'Affaires of Lebanon in Cuba and several Lebanese
professionals graduated in different disciplines in
our country.

لقاء رئيس لبنان مع الجالية الكوبية العربية.
يسرنا ان نبلغكم ان رئيس جمهورية لبنان
، السيد اميل لحود والوفد الرفيع المستوى الذي يرافقه
الى مؤتمر القمة الرابع لرؤساء دول او حكومات حركة دول
عدم الإنحياز في هافانا ، قد اجروا لقاءً اخوياً حاراً
مع افراد الجالية الكوبية - العربية في مقر بعثة هذا
البلد الشقيق الدبلوماسية.
أقام رئيس الدولة اللبنانية ومرافقوه حواراً حيوياً
وحاراً مع اعضاء اللجنة التنفيذية للاتحاد العربي.
المهندس الفريدو غوتييريز دريشي ، رئيس الاتحاد،
ونائبيه خوان دوفلار عامل وهوسيه الياس شيدياق واعضاء
مجلس الادارة ، هوسيه لويس ليبيرا وروزا م. دياز
شيدياق وكاريداد نيلار وآنا لورد خلف، واعضاء اللجنة
النسائية، هيلدا نيلار وكارمن ريدوندو ، و سواهم لوحظ
وجود شخصيات من اصل عربي من مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية
والاجتماعية والسياسية والعلمية الذين كان اجدادهم
المشرقيون قد وجدوا في ضيافة اكبر جزر الانتيل البيت
والوطن و الامة لاولادهم.
ذكر رئيس دولة بلد الارز ان الهجرة النبيلة لابناء من
مختلف الدول العربية التي وصلت الي الاراضي الامريكيه
غذوا في اولادهم حب الوطن الاصلي وحافظوا علي وحدتهم
وهويتهم و ثقافتهم وعاداتهم، مشاعر، قال ، عززت
بالعرى العاطفية التاريخية من الصداقه والتعاون
والتضامن التي تجمع الشعب الكوبي مع شعوب الشرق
الاوسط.
بشأن الاحداث المأساوية في لبنان التي سببها العدوان
العسكري الاسرائيلي وعواقبه المأساوية علي السكان قال
ان اللبنانيين يحبون السلام و يكافحون من اجله
ويتمكنون بملء ارادتهم ويملكون الامل الجديد ، لاعادة
بناء علي كل ما دمرته هجمات وتفجيرات الجيش والطيران
الصهيوني.
اكد اعضاء في الجالية الكوبية العربية للرئيس اللبناني
تضامن شعب كوبا الدائم مع الشعب اللبناني الشقيق
وادانوا العدوان الفظ، الغير عادل والغير ضروري علي
بلد الارز.
شاركت في اللقاء مع الزائر الموقر والوفد المرافق
مجموعة من العديد من المتخصصين في الطب ونواب في
الجمعية الوطنية للسلطة الشعبية، من القادة السياسيين
والمنظمات الاجتماعية ومدراء شركات الدولة والمفكرين
والفنانين والصحافيين من اصل عربي.
بين العدد الكبير من الضيوف الي اللقاء تواجد ايضا
الاستاذ الدكتور رودريغو الفاريز كامبرا ، نائب في
الجمعية الوطنية للسلطة الشعبية ورئيس رابطة الصداقة
الكوبية - العربية؛ عمر رمضان، نائب ان ب ب، انريكي
رومان ، النائب الاول لرئيس مؤسسة الصداقة مع الشعوب
وسفير سابق لكوبا في لبنان، موظفون في اللجنة المركزية
للحزب الشيوعي الكوبي ، القائم بالاعمال اللبناني لدى
كوبا وعدد من المهنيين اللبنانيين المتخرجين في مختلف
المجالات في بلادنا.
