The University of Matanzas Camilo Cienfuegos in Cuba offers you a variety of Spanish Language courses, which include threshold, intermediate and advanced levels. Special design courses are also negotiated at your  request. Duration of the courses ranges from 1, 2  or 3 weeks to 2-4 months. The courses are developed all year around.

ABC in Spanish I
Training in elementary forms of communication
Duration 1 week ( 6 hours  a  day)

ABC in Spanish II
Practical and active learning of the main functions allowing for elementary communication in Spanish. The course includes practical activities.
Duration: 2 weeks ( 6 hours a day)

Short-Term Spanish
Training in the principles, structures and features of the Spanish language system allowing for communication with Spanish-speakers on topics of general interest, as well as for reading texts with intermediate complexity and writing brief summaries  and narrations. Situational practices , visits to museums and other cultural activities will also be developed.
Duration 3 weeks (4 hours a day)
Start: the second Monday of every month.

Panoramic Spanish
Oral communication in Spanish, elements on the history of Cuba as well as Cuban and Latin-American cultures. Visits to museums and to places of historical , tourist  and  cultural interest are also included.
Duration 2 months ( 4 hours a day)

Advanced Spanish
Immersion in the various contents of Spanish allowing for communication with Cuban and other Spanish-speakers, as well as for reading texts of intermediate complexity, writing abstracts and narrations. Visits to museums and other places of  interest are also included.
Duration: 2 months ( 4 hours a day)
Start: the second Monday in November, April and June.

Integrated Spanish Practice
A threshold and intermediate level course allowing for communication with Spanish speakers, as well as for reading more complex texts and writing narrations and abstracts. Visits to museums  and to other  places of tourist, social and cultural interest are also included.
Duration : 4 months
