El 31 de Julio, a las 17.00 horas, la Embajada de Cuba ofreció un cocktail para despedir al Primer Secretario, Argelio Yglesias Lozano, y presentar a su sustituto Guillermo Suaréz Borges. Esta actividad, contó con la asistencia de representantes de partidos, y organizaciones libanesas y palestinas, en los que se destacan Ali Faisal, Representante del FDPL, Mohamad Hachicho, Vicepresidente del Partido Democrático Popular, Salah Salah, Presidente de la Asociación Amistad Palestina-Cuba, Bassam Kantar, Hermano del decano de los presos libaneses en Israel, Maurice Nohra, Secretario General Ejecutivo de la Asociación de Amistad Líbano-Cuba, Hassan Mokaled, Redactor en Jefe de la Revista Al EEmar Wal Iktissad, y otras personalidades. Durante el cocktail, el Encargado de Negocios a.i Aricel J. Hernández Reyes, ofreció un caluroso agradecimiento por su presencia a todos los asistentes, así como resaltó la labor realizada por Argelio, durante estos casi tres años y en los últimos meses para impulsar el trabajo de liberación de los cinco héroes prisioneros del imperio. Así mismo, Argelio emocionado expresó su gratitud por haber tenido la oportunidad de trabajar en este país.

Hernández Reyes, offered a hot gratefulness for their presence to all the assistants, as well as he stood out the work carried out by Argelio, during these almost three years and in the last months to impel the five heroes prisoners' of the empire liberation.
